Blackhawks, Other Chicago Sports Teams Pay Tribute To Legendary Mike Ditka

On Friday, news broke that legendary Chicago Bears coach and player Mike Ditka passed away at the age of 86. Ditka was a fiery personality who played a key role in bringing championship success to the city of Chicago more than once.

Before Ditka was the legendary coach, he was a Hall of Fame player who revolutionized the tight end position. He was the first-ever player at that position to make the Hall of Fame, as he turned it into a receiving position as much as a blocking position.

Following the news, the Chicago Blackhawks and the rest of the Chicago sports landscape paid their respects on social media.
