The Chicago Blackhawks have a budding star in Connor Bedard. Now, he is creating iconic movie scene images for "Chicago Magazine" while dominating hockey games.

The Chicago Blackhawks landed a prodigy thanks to their victory in the 2023 NHL Draft Lottery. Because of that lucky moment, they had the right to select Connor Bedard with the first overall pick in the 2023 NHL Draft.

Since then, Bedard has put up many points, won the Calder Trophy, and is now the face of an iconic team. There is a lot of pressure on Bedard to become the generational player that he set out to be and that isn't always easy.

Many people hear Bedard talk and get nothing out of it other than "hockey nerd talk". There is some truth to that as this kid eats, sleeps, and breathes hockey.

However, we got to see him be a part of something amazing off the ice as a picture of Bedard at the Art Institute of Chicago went viral in the hockey community on Wednesday.

Bedard re-created the iconic scene from the movie "Ferris Bueller's Day Off". This was done for "Chicago Magazine".

In the movie, Ferris has a friend named Cameron and there is the iconic image of him in his Gordie Howe Detroit Red Wings sweater standing in front of the painting "A Sunday on La Grande Jatte".

In the recreation of the scene, Bedard can be seen in front of the same incredible painting by Georges Seurat while wearing his own Chicago Blackhawks sweater. There is something magical about Original Six sweaters in front of amazing paintings.

This is a classic movie scene that people will remember forever and now this amazing feature allowed one of today's biggest stars to recreate it. Everyone involved with this project should be proud of how it turned out.

Chicago Magazine has also put out a little behind-the-scenes video on how they were able to create this booming image:

Bedard is a special player. He has the talent to become one of the all-time great Chicago Blackhawks players. If he does that and continues to do fun stuff off the ice, he'll be a legend in town.
