It appears that an Avalanche forward may have pranked one of the game's greatest goalies.

It appears that an Avalanche forward may have pranked one of the game's greatest goalies.

The Colorado Avalanche are preparing for a big matchup against the Minnesota Wild tonight. Their goal will be to bounce back from their tough 4-1 loss to the Columbus Blue Jackets and secure a win against their division rival.

However, a classic prank occurred before this matchup, and it was at the expense of Wild goaltender Marc-Andre Fleury. The future Hall of Famer had his vehicle TPed, and Avalanche forward Brandon Duhaime is being viewed as the likely suspect.

Duhaime and Fleury were known for having a prank war as teammates on the Wild, but naturally, things cooled off when the former was dealt to Colorado. However, now that Duhaime is back in Minnesota for the first time since being traded, it appears that the gritty forward could have reignited the war.

Per The Athletic's Michael Russo, Duhaime said the TPing was "good work by somebody." Duhaime also named former teammate Mason Shaw as a possible suspect.

Given Duhaime and Fleury's well-known pranking history, it is fair to speculate that the Avalanche forward is responsible.

We will now need to wait and see how these two clubs perform against one another in this Central Division battle. It should be a bittersweet for Duhaime to play against his former club for the first time.
