    The Colorado Avalanche on X have officially announced/revealed that they will be honoring the Quebec Nordiques this season with a special third jersey for their 30th Anniversary.

    After teasers, rumors, and speculation, the Colorado Avalanche have officially revealed their 30th Anniversary Jerseys, which they will wear this season to commemorate the milestone. Multiple posts and clips of the players wearing these jerseys during practices and hanging in the locker room have been revealed, including the dates on which they will be worn during home games. 

    The ode to the Quebec Nordiques' baby blue jerseys in all of their glory will be seen by the masses during seven regular-season games, six times at home and one on the road. The schedule follows:

    • October 23, 2025, vs. Carolina Hurricanes
    • November 29, 2025, vs. Montreal Canadiens
    • January 3, 2026, at Carolina Hurricanes
    • January 12, 2026, vs. Toronto Maple Leafs
    • March 16, 2026, vs. Pittsburgh Penguins
    • April 1, 2026, vs. Vancouver Canucks
    • April 11, 2026, vs. Vegas Golden Knights

    Per the press release listed on the Colorado Avalanche NHL website, these jerseys will be available to the public to purchase “beginning at 10 a.m. MT online, with in-person sales beginning at Noon MT at the Altitude Authentics store at Ball Arena, which will be open until 7 p.m. MT.”
