The Blue Jackets and Cleveland Monsters got some bad news regarding one of their goalie prospects.

Pavel Čajan, who played 49 games with the Monsters and was an undrafted free agent, has signed with HC Litvínov in Czechia.

He had a record of 19-20-6 in parts of three seasons with Cleveland.

"I am very happy that the next steps of my career are heading to Litvínov. I can't wait to try out the fantastic atmosphere," Čajan said in a press release.

Čajan also played for the Cincinnati Cyclones of the ECHL. He bounced back and forth between Cleveland and Cincinnati a lot over the past few seasons. He went 15-13-6 with the Cyclones.

    Good luck to Pavel Čajan.
