

The Columbus Blue Jackets' AHL affiliate has announced that they have signed goaltender Evan Gardner to an amateur tryout contract.
Gardner, 19, played for the Saskatoon Blades of the Western Hockey League this season and had a record of 23-13-5. He also had three shutouts, a 2.82 GAA and a .911 SV% in 44 games.
Gardner was drafted by the Blue Jackets in the second round of the 2024 NHL draft and signed his entry level deal on March 18th.
