Greaves, 23, has posted a 2-1-2 record with a 2.98 goals-against average and a .906 save percentage in five appearances with the Blue Jackets in 2024-25. He owns a 5-8-2 record with a 3.29 GAA and a .910 SV% in 15 career outings.
With the emergency call-up of Greaves, it raises questions about the health of the Blue Jackets' goaltenders.
It would be a huge loss if Elvis Merzlikins is the goalie who is hurt and will miss time. With the Blue Jackets in the thick of the wild-card race in the Eastern Conference, losing him would be a significant blow to the team.
