

With the NHL Trade Deadline only four days away, the Columbus Blue Jackets' rumor mill is heating up. The Blue Jackets are in the race for the final wild card spot in the East, and although they don't want to mess with the future, they want to add to reward the team for their good play this season.
According to Pierre LeBrun, the Blue Jackets and Ivan Provorov are working on an extension. However, they are also taking calls on himEven though it is unlikely that he will be dealt, the Blue Jackets are getting a lot of interest in the defenseman.
LeBrun also tweeted that the Blue Jackets are looking for a forward to add to the mix. They don't want to sell the future to make an addition, but they want to reward the team for its strong play this season.

There are a few other notes, including Mathieu Olivier staying with the Blue Jackets. He won't be traded at the deadline, as the team is instead looking to work out an extension.
