The Blue Jackets have signed defenseman Christián Jaroš to a one-year, two-way contract today.

Jaroš played the last three seasons in the KHL after playing a season with the New Jersey Devils.

Jaroš has played 94 NHL games has 14 points. In the AHL, he's played 90 games and has 34 points.

The signing of Jaros is no doubt for depth with the Cleveland Monsters. The Jackets didn't QO a couple defenseman and needed to bring in some guys to fill those gaps.
