Now that we're past the draft and the first round of free agency, the betting markets have set some odds on everything from points totals, playoffs, Cup winner, and much more.

So what are the Columbus Blue Jackets' chances at some of the awards, and where they'll finish the season? Let's take a look.

*Disclaimer - I am not an expert and am just looking at the odds, and am not advocating you make these bets.

    DraftKings

    • Season Point Total Over/Under - 84.5 - The over is -125. The under is -105 - This seems like easy money. Last year the Jackets point total was set at 70.5 and THAT was easy money.
    • Chances at making the Playoffs - Yes +250. No -350 - With the Metro slated to be the worst division in the NHL this upcoming season, it's very feasible that the CBJ make the playoffs.
    • Zach Werenski to win the Norris Trophy +1200 - He still sits behind Cale Makar and Quinn Hughes, who have the best odds. But, if you ask Zach, that's exactly how he likes it.
    • Vezina Trophy - Elvis Merzļikins +10000/Jet Greaves +30000 - If you're really brave, you can take a flyer on one of the CBJ goalies to win the Vezina. This is definitely a long shot, but stranger things have happened.

    FanDuel

    • Chances at making the playoffs - Yes +190. No -240
    • Chances of winning the Metro Division +2200

Are you brave enough to put a few bucks down on the Jackets? Two years ago, the odds that Adam Fantilli would go third in the draft were set at around +1800. That meant that a simple $10 bet on Adam Fantilli going third would've paid out $180—more than a few people I know made that wager.

Last season, the CBJ point total was set at 70.5. The Jackets blew by that total and finished with 89 points. Can they do that again?
