Yegor Chinakhov's agent, Shumi Babaev, reiterated Yegor Chinakhov's position in an interview with RB Sport today.

In the interview, he was asked whether or not Chinakhov would start in Columbus or be traded before the season. Babaev responded, "I hope that the club has heard Yegor and will try to find a trade before the championship starts. Let's hope that he will start the season in another team."

Not really a response fans of Columbus want to hear.

Babaev added, "Yegor made an emotional, correct, and precise statement. Last season, which he started in the first lines, he showed very strong results. But the coach, without explaining anything, just like Yegor said, moved him to the third line. The coach does not see Chinakhov where he can be useful. Yegor is uncomfortable, so he made such a statement. I am in good dialogue with Columbus, they know our position and what we want. We understand the situation in the club and that it is not so easy to change such a player from the first round of the draft. It is clear that Yegor wants to change the team, and I, for my part, support him one hundred percent."

It seems that Chinakhov is upset about playing third line minutes. Who would you pull to put in Chinakhov?

Chinakhov has only played in 83 games the last two seasons combined.

It seems that this situation is beyond repair, let's just hope it's not the feeling of any more players on the team.
