Patrik Laine made his debut for the Montreal Canadiens on Tuesday, Dec. 3rd, against the New York Islanders.

After just his first couple of shifts, he had the support of the fan base. They were cheering for him and giving him a traditional Canadiens welcome.

Laine was able to find the back of the net in his first game, which had the crowd excited and wanting more.

After the game, Laine has this to say about his debut.

“It'll be something I'll for sure remember forever. That was the coolest thing I've ever seen.”

It is great to see Laine feeling happy and healthy again and enjoying playing the game he loves.

Sadly, it didn't work out during his time in Columbus, but now it is great to see someone who struggled with personal issues overcome them and find a new home, with his new team.
