Former Columbus Blue Jackets prospect and Cleveland Monsters great Trey Fix-Wolansky has signed with the New York Rangers on a one-year, two-way deal for the league minimum of $775K.
Fix-Wolansky finished his time with Cleveland with the third most games played(289), first in goals(112), first in assists(147), and first in points with 259.
Fix-Wolansky was just never able to get his chance with the Blue Jackets. He played in 26 total games and had 6 points after being drafted in the 7th round of the 2018 draft.
Fix-Wolansky was a Group-6 UFA after this past season because he didn't play enough NHL games at his age.
Cleveland fans will miss the greatest player to ever wear a Monsters uniform.
