HC Pascal Vincent Describes Loss To Panthers As "Character Win"
Vincent said of the six-minute frenzy by Florida to start the game, "We were expecting that kind of push from Florida. They lost against Chicago two days before, and knew that push was coming." He goes on to say "I really enjoyed how we pushed back."
As he continued to talk about the comeback he said, "I really enjoyed the pushback, lots of character on the bench, blocking shots, driving the net, scoring gritty goals, playoff mindset." He says "Even though we didn't get the two points, we got one point. I want to say a good character win."
You can tell in his tone and how he talks about them that he believes in his team despite the them being young. Vincent says "I don't care about age. I think if you can be a player in the NHL regardless of your age, and be a positive player, meaning winning habits, you can play in the NHL and be successful as a team."
As always, HC Vincent is a great interview and you can listen to the full interview below.
