The Flames are sending their star goalie into NWA
The Calgary Flames are in Buffalo tonight and have announced that Dan Vladar will get the start in net. That means since they will be in a back-to-back situation, Jacob Markstrom should be going against the Jackets.
Markstrom is 1-1-1 on the young season with a 2.96 GAA and a .898%. The Flames are currently in the middle of a 5-game road trip that will conclude on Sunday, in D.C.
The Flames are currently 0-1-1 on the trip.
The Jackets will be playing on Friday after having the last three days off following the thumping they took from Detroit. Getting Elvis and Werenski back should help the cause.
