Jake Bean, defenseman for the CBJ appeared on the Morning Juice show this morning, to briefly talk about the young season. This week they've had Pascal Vincent, Bob McElligott, and Jean-Luc Grande-Pierre as well. Props to the 97.1 The Fan for doing this every day, I for one look forward to it.
The other shows that air from 9-3 p.m. have also had Jackets-related guests including Zach Werenski on Wednesday. Yesterday Werenski went on air to voice his displeasure with the Flyers Garnet Hathaway for the dirty hit he put on Werenski in game 1. Check that out here.
Bean was only on for 4 minutes, but he discussed his injury last season as well as playing with Erik Gudbranson. You can listen to the interview below.
97.1 The Fan is the flagship home of the Blue Jackets, and they just signed an extension as well, so this is very good to see every day. Fans hope that this will continue and not just be a fad. More Blue Jackets content is what fans of Columbus have begged for, for years, and now they're getting it. The good news is that if they miss it, they can pull it up on The Fan's website or on X, where they post the interviews almost immediately after it happens. So, if you want content, it's out there.
I highly encourage you to listen to the interviews when you can, and if you can't, THN Columbus will listen and report back to you, what you need to know.
