The Jackets trimmed the roster by 11 on Friday, paving the way for those guys to return to Cleveland if they cleared waivers. They did clear, so now the Monsters can focus on their training camp.

Former Jacket Ryan Dzingel appeared on a podcast and told a story about former coach John Tortorella, and it makes it sound like he had disdain for Artemi Panarin and Sergei Bobrovsky.

The Jackets traveled to D.C. to take on the Capitals on Saturday night for the last preseason game before the 2023-24 season kicks off. The Jackets fell behind 2-1 before scoring three unanswered to finish off the Caps.
