HC Pascal Vincent appeared on 97.1's Morning Juice to talk about his team today.

Pascal Vincent said that last night was a "mix of emotions" when asked about the loss against the LA Kings.

Vincent says that he thought the Jackets played the two best periods of the season so far. He mentioned that he knew the Kings team they were playing was a Cup contender, but they felt good about themselves after those two periods and were excited about the way they played, but ultimately didn't achieve their goals.

Vincent goes on to say "As much as it hurts, we have to go through this, to learn how to close those games out." He says that they've played some good teams, and played them well. "At the NHL level, (winning)it is a grind, it's hard, and maybe it's even not fun to do all the things that need to be done," Vincent says. "Last night hurt."

When asked about the surge LA would bring in the third, Vincent said "It was just about confidence and staying on our toes. I think the first goal in the third period changed the game." "We are a little bit passive in the third period when we have a lead, we just don't want to make mistakes. So, we need to get past that," Vincent said.

Vincent also addresses the Fantilli only playing three shifts in the third and only 10 minutes in the games.
