Head Coach Pascal Vincent said the team "did well" last night against Buffalo. He says, "We're running our system, and we're doing the right things, and we're just an inch away." He said this about Buffalo's first goal last night. He says the Jackets were being aggressive off of the faceoff, but a turnover immediately went back the other way for the goal. "From there, we took off," he says. He says the Blue Jackets were "sharp, mentally and physically, and were playing fast." Overall he says the Jackets were the "better team from start to finish."
"Our biggest issue this year is holding onto leads. We've been in games, we've been all of the games, we just didn't finish."
He also has some good things to say about Kirill Marchenko. You can listen to the full interview below.
