Vincent: "You don't replace a Boone Jenner"

Pascal Vincent was asked about the importance of losing Boone Jenner to a broken jaw. "He's a presence, he's a good man, he's like a big brother to some of our younger players," he says. Vincent says, "When you lose a leader like him, an important player like him, we have to find a way to compensate for what he's been doing for us." "You don't replace a Boone Jenner, " Vincent emphasizes. 

Vincent was also asked about the tough schedule to start the season in terms of playing 30 games in 60 days and what he's done to keep morale up and injuries down. He mentioned that the coaches and medical staff work together to find a good mix of rest and practice. He said he believes that staying mentally healthy is key as well.
