The Dallas Stars are back in action tonight as they will finish off their season series against the Los Angeles Kings. Dallas is coming off a disappointing 6-4 loss to the Blue Jackets in Columbus. Stars fans hope that a few days off, and some home cooking, will get their team back in the win column after Friday night's contest.

Head coach Pete DeBoer will have a lot to juggle going into tonight's matchup as his team deals with a slew of injuries. The latest player forced sitting out is forward Lian Bichsel who will miss a handful of games after entering into the NHL's concussion protocol after exiting Dallas' Sunday matinée with the Islanders. The Stars will rely on Oskar Back to fill in the meantime on the fourth line alongside Sam Steel and Mavrik Bourque.

On the other side of the ice, all eyes will be directed on Kings winger Quinton Byfield. The 2nd overall pick in the 2020 NHL draft has been on a roll his last five games, as he has tallied six points. The Stars will also have to contend with also have to contend with Kings top scorer Adrian Kempe. The 28-yr old winger currently leads the team in goals(26) and points(49), and will most definitely be on the Star's focus tonight.
