The Dallas Stars are taking on the San Jose Sharks Tuesday -- and a former Stars winger is making his first trip to Dallas as an opponent.

Right-winger Ty Dellandrea, who was dealt to the Sharks this summer in exchange for a fourth-round draft pick in 2025, is now San Jose's fourth-line right winger. The 24-year-old played 173 regular-season games for the Stars since he was drafted 13th-overall in 2018 -- and last season, Dellandrea posted seven assists and nine points in 42 games.

Dellandrea is currently the Sharks' fourth-line right winger, and while he'll get more opportunities in San Jose that he would've received in Dallas had he returned, Stars fans still remember him fondly as someone who played an honest game on a deep Dallas team.
