It is no secret that part of the recipe for success and reaching the ultimate goal is staying healthy, though sometimes that is out of the team's control. The Stars have had their fair share of injury struggles this season and even in the post-season, losing Roope Hintz for a game due to a slash on the foot.

The Oilers are not the exception to the rule, not having Mattias Ekholm or Calvin Pickard. But it seems that the injury did not stop there. The Oilers announced that Zach Hyman had surgery and has been ruled out for the remainder of the playoffs. Hyman was injured in the first period in the first period from a missed hit by Mason Marchment. Marchment went in for the hit, but missed and essentially brushed the arms and shoulder of Hyman.

While this news is a huge hit to Edmonton, Hyman has been a threat all playoffs long, leading in hits and has found himself on the score sheet several times against Dallas. The Stars find themselves grasping at straws coming back to Dallas for Game 5 tomorrow.
