It was announced on Friday that defenseman Esa Lindell was named Finland's Male Hockey Player Of The Year. Lindell picked up the slack this season with 26 points in 80 games, while fellow Finnish teammate Miro Heiskanen went down with a season ending knee injury on January 28th.
