    The Dallas Stars finally settled on a head coaching decision on Wednesday by announcing the hire of Glen Gulutzan. The two-time NHL coach will get a second chance behind the helm for the Dallas Stars after previously holding the post from 2011 to 2013.

    The newly hired bench minder previously spent two seasons in Dallas, where the team went two-straight years without reaching the playoffs. During the tenure, Gulutzan tallied 64 wins in 130 games. During his reintroductory press conference, Gulutzan stated that he has a more talented squad at his disposal. When ask what the difference during his second tenure, the new hire stated: "The depth helps. It's here in Dallas." 

    While it remains to be seen how the Dallas depth will be utilized in the upcoming season, Gulutzan will have to make the playoffs, something he has only done once during this time with the Calgary Flames. On top of that, he will be tasked the with the objective of bringing a Stanley Cup back to 'Big D'.
