Postgame Notes

The Dallas Stars went into Game 2 with aspirations of leaving Winnipeg with a two win series lead. Very early on it did not look to be the case as Winnipeg came out swinging and Connor Hellebuyck looked to be his Vezina winning self. The Jets would net two in the first, and two more in the final 40 minutes to walk away with a shutout victory.

The Stars were unable to get anything going offensively, failing to notch double digits in shots in any period. The Stars did not help their cause either as they took five penalties. Dallas will look to reset as they will be back on home ice on Sunday in Game 3.
