The Dallas Stars will be back in action tonight as they are set to take on the New Jersey Devils. The Stars come into the affair sporting an impressive 10-game stretch performance, but also one of the best records in the NHL. Dallas also looks to aim to push their win streak to three games. The Stars got the better of the Devils in their previous meeting, a 4-2 win in New Jersey, and hope to sweep the season series tonight at home.

The Dallas Stars are playing some of the best hockey that they have played all season. They boast a record of 17-6-1 with 35 points since New Years, and they show no signs of slowing down as the season draws ever nearer to a conclusion. Dallas has kept a tight grasp on their aspirations for overtaking first place in the Central Division from the Winnipeg Jets with seven wins in their last 10 games. The Jets have been hot as of late as well by putting up a record of 8-1-1 in their last 10 games. The Central Division, as well as first place in the Western Conference, can very well come down to the wire as both teams have a little over 20 games left on their schedules.

Dallas will rely on goaltender Casey DeSmith in net for tonight's affair, while the Devils will have Jacob Markstrom on their end. New Jersey will be without their star forward Jack Hughes after he exited early during New Jersey's previous game against Vegas. Dallas will still be shorthanded as defenseman Lian Bichsel is still in concussion protocol. Tonight's matchup is schedule for 7pm CST and can be viewed on ESPN+, Hulu, and Disney+.
