Stars Representatives Set to Shine in 4 Nations Face-Off

The 4 Nations Face-Off kicked off on Wednesday night with a phenomenal matchup between Sweden and Canada up in the Centre Bell in Montreal. The contest came to an end when Maple Leaf forward Mitch Marner scored the overtime goal to bring home the 4-3 victory. The second night will promise to be just as exciting, as Finland and the United States will square off. The matchup will feature all four of the representatives for the Dallas Stars in action.

The 4 Nations Face-Off promised to be one of the most exciting events that the NHL has put forth in quite some time, as the first night gave hockey fans an exciting quarrel between Sweden and Canada that needed to be settled in overtime. Tonight will be just as exciting, especially for Dallas fans, as Esa Lindell, Mikael Granlund, Roope Hintz, and Jake Oettinger will take the ice when Finland and the United States collide. The Stars goaltender will be on the bench as a spectator while Connor Hellebuyck will get the start for the United States, most likely allowing for Oettinger to start on Saturday against Canada.

Puck drop for tonight's tilt of Finland and the United States is scheduled for 7pm CST and can be viewed on ESPN and ESPN+.
