Two Dallas Stars players visited Milan, the site of the 2026 Olympics, as part of the NHL's European media tour Friday.

Finns Miro Heiskanen and Roope Hintz joined 24 other European-born NHL players at the home of one of Italy's most storied soccer clubs, AC Milan.
Among the topics was that of Hintz's broken foot suffered in the Western Conference Final when Oilers defenseman Darnell Nurse slashed Hintz in a controversial play. Hintz missed time but returned to play with the fracture before the Stars were eliminated in Game 5 of the series.
Hintz insisted that he was feeling good and will be fully ready for training camp and the upcoming season. In fact, he was able to train normally throughout the off-season despite the injury happening so close to the start of June.
Both he and Heiskanen will shoulder a larger load of games this season as representatives of Finland in the Olympics coming up in February in Milan/Cortina. This will be the first Olympics since 2014 that NHL players will take part in.
In preparation, the players visited San Siro, the iconic soccer stadium in Milan, to affirm a partnership with the Italian soccer league just before kickoff this weekend.
