There has been a lot of buzz around NHL players being able to participate in the 2026 Olympics in Milan. However, 2026 seemed so far away when that news was announced. And then the Four Nations tournament happened.
Across North America, it was recorded that approximately 16.2 million people tuned in for the final game between Canada and America. America took home the win, which gave American fans bragging rights for winning "Canada's sport," but also hope that America could bring home gold in 2026.

Both, Canada and America, had stacked rosters and when the Four Nations rosters were announced, it was no surprise that the Finns were the biggest representation for the Dallas Stars on Team Finland. Additionally, to no one's surprise Jake Oettinger made Team USA to backup behind Connor Hellebuyck. However, there was a late entry after the tournament started due to injury, which meant Thomas Harley got the chance to represent Team Canada.
Stars fans have always known just how good Harley was, but the rest of the world was getting to see him do his thing on the big stage. And that was not soon forgotten as he was not left off the list this time. The roster invites for Team Canada's Orientation Camp were announced and Harley received an invite. But he wasn't the only Star on the list, Wyatt Johnston also received an invite. Johnston came as a bit of a surprise to Stars fans even, as most Stars players tend to be underrated due to the team being in a smaller market.
Other country's roster invites have not been released yet, but just like Four Nations, there are some no-brainers that should make the cut to represent their country. But perhaps the Stars will find a couple more players on Team rosters, Jason Robertson comes to mind especially.
