Injured forward Jason Robertson started skating again after a lower body injury suffered in the regular season finale, but despite that step forward, Robertson still remains week-to-week

Robertson is still "not close," Dallas Stars head coach Pete DeBoer said in his media availability Sunday. Robertson did travel to Denver with the team, where he was able to skate, but only just to start the process rather than to near his return.

The news comes as a big, although somewhat expected, blow to the Stars offense that has struggled mightily to put the puck in the back of the net so far this postseason. It was always a long shot that Robertson could come back as early as this series given the outward pessimism offered up by DeBoer from the jump about the extent of the injury. But the team needs some desperate help offensively right now.

The Stars have scored a mere seven goals in the first four games of the series. While the series is tied 2-2, both Stars wins were just by one goal in overtime. In the two losses, the Stars have only scored one goal and given Makenzie Blackwood his first NHL playoff shutout.
