THN Detroit's podcast The Silky Mitten State is back with a brand new episode!

My co-host Connor Earegood and I debrief his adventure from Pasadena to Houston to cover the University of Michigan's first national championship in football since 1997. Then, we get into hockey business, chatting about the Red Wings' perfect swing through California, then a unique test courtesy of Connor McDavid and the Edmonton Oilers.

We then discuss Alex DeBrincat's status as an all-star, Alex Lyon's status as Detroit's number one option in goal. Finally, we wrap the show by discussing Team USA's gold medal at the World Junior and the blockbuster trade that sent that tournament's top forward Cutter Gauthier from Philadelphia to Anaheim.
