Red Wings Announce 2024-25 Promotional Calendar

Detroit announced its giveaway schedule for the new season, including old favorites like a Zamboni gravy boat, bobbleheads, and more

"Diplomacy is a Strength of the Detroit Red Wings"

This morning, the Red Wings announced their promotional schedule for the fast approaching season, complete with this year's giveaways.  The lineup is headlined by last season's breakout star: a novelty Zamboni gravy boat, back again with a new design, to be given to the first 7,500 fans who arrive to the November 23rd game against the Bruins.

There are also more conventional offerings: towels, bobbleheads, and the like.  Some highlights there include a Mickey Redmond bobblehead (clad of course in his signature black and red checked Carhartt flannel) for the first 7,500 fans to attend October 30th's date with the Winnipeg Jets, a night in honor of Pavel Datsyuk's induction into the Hockey Hall of Fame on November 21st against the Islanders with a commemorative coin to mark the occasion, a Dylan Larkin bobblehead night on December 1st against the Vancouver Canucks, and a Patrick Kane bobblehead for January 7th's game against the Senators.

The team will also be running back its "Hockeytown Throwback Nights" promotion, which includes novelty stick cases for distinguished alumni, with this year's honorees Chris Osgood, Steve Yzerman, and Datsyuk.  Suffice it to say the Red Wings will be doing their best to get fans into Little Caesars Arena early and often once the puck drops.
