April is the final month of the regular season, which comes as a relief to many.

The Detroit Red Wings are hoping for a better month than March, when they scored only eight points in 14 games.

Realistically, the Red Wings need to have 90 pts for any chance of making the playoffs. Sorry, but that's just not going to happen. They'd need to win 8 out of 9 games, with a very tough schedule ahead (and multiple injuries).
