Marco Kasper Rising To The Challenge For Red Wings

“I see a lot of leadership skills evolving,” McLellan revealed. “He was one that I pulled aside this morning. I didn’t think it was his best effort in Florida, and he certainly agreed.”

“Anytime a young player like that is challenged and comes back with a game like this today, that’s a real good sign.”

Kasper finished the game with the second-highest time on ice of all the Red Wings forwards (19:52). He centered his own line, with Patrick Kane and Alex DeBrincat as his wingmen.

That’s very esteemed company to be in.
