World Junior Championship 2025: Full Team USA Schedule
Team USA will play two pre-tournament games before the tournament begins on Boxing Day.
It's the most wonderful time of the year.
Yes, Christmas is nigh. However, the World Junior Championship is also under the tree, waiting to be opened. Luckily for Detroit Red Wings fans, a few prospects in the system will be represented in the tournament.

While Dylan Larkin, Moritz Seider, and Lucas Raymond are resting and relaxing, Trey Augustine and Max Plante will grind away at their dream of winning a gold medal.
Here is the full Team USA schedule, including pre-tournament games.
Pre-Tournament Games
Team USA will play two pre-tournament games (Game Times are in Eastern Time)
- Saturday, December 21: USA vs. Slovakia (7:00 PM)
- Monday, December 23: USA vs. Finland (4:00 PM)
Tournament Games
Team USA will play four tournament games:
- Thursday, December 26: USA vs. Germany (2:30 PM)
- Saturday, December 28: USA vs. Latvia (3:30 PM)
- Sunday, December 29: USA vs. Finland (2:30 PM)
- Tuesday, December 31: USA vs. Canada (8:00 PM)
Medal Round
- Thursday, January 2: Quarterfinals & Relegation
- Saturday, January 4: Semifinals
- Sunday, January 5: Bronze & Gold Medal Games
*Note: Only the pre-tournament games will not be available to view on broadcast. All of the tournament and medal-round games will be viewable on the NHL Network.
Team USA will look to repeat its Gold Medal performance from the 2024 competition. Last year, it defeated Team Sweden to win the gold medal. Czechia defeated Finland to take home the Bronze medal.

Augustine has been lights out for Michigan State University. In 14 NCAA games he boasts an 11-2-1 record, a 1.98 goals against average, a .930 save percentage, and two shutouts. Plante has six points in five games playing on the wing at the University of Minnesota-Duluth.
