Team USA will look to repeat its Gold Medal performance from the 2024 competition. Last year, it defeated Team Sweden to win the gold medal. Czechia defeated Finland to take home the Bronze medal.

Augustine has been lights out for Michigan State University. In 14 NCAA games he boasts an 11-2-1 record, a 1.98 goals against average, a .930 save percentage, and two shutouts. Plante has six points in five games playing on the wing at the University of Minnesota-Duluth.
