False Jason Dickinson Rumor Squashed As Oilers Practice on Monday

Whatever led to an account suggesting Jason Dickinson was done for the entire 2026-27 season is unclear. But as of Monday's practice, the forward was on the ice with the Edmonton Oilers, and he's certainly not being put on the shelf all season.

A random account called Draft Watch 3.0 -- an account with no insider knowledge -- posted, "Word is Jason Dickinson is going to be done for the season." As can happen, these unsubstantiated accounts can pick up steam, and before long, people believe the reports to be accurate.

They're often not. (I won't link it here to avoid giving them additional attention).

As the Oilers took the ice on Monday, Dickinson was there.
