Evander Kane had a solid run with the Edmonton Oilers before moving on to play with the Vancouver Canucks and becoming a UFA this summer. Of all the deals signed, Kane remains unsigned and one has to wonder why.

Is it his reputation? Is it the ask? Is he waiting for a specific team?

Maybe it's time the Oilers see what he might be looking for.

He scored 13 goals and 31 points in 71 games, which put him sixth on Vancouver in scoring this past season. He also brings a physical edge. He had 92 penalty minutes.
