Oilers Activate Dickinson, But Lose Another Forward to Injury

The Edmonton Oilers will have Jason Dickinson back in the lineup on Wednesday night, but they've lost another forward to injury. Colton Dach has been placed on IR.

Oilers can't buy a break with the injury bug.

As for what caused the Dach injury, that much is unclear. He did take a nasty hit from Luke Schenn during the game with the Vancouver Canucks, but he was in the lineup versus the Seattle Kraken.

Babcock said of Dickinson's return: "He's a real intelligent, useful player for us.... He gives us a different complexion. We look forward to him getting up and rolling, it's probably going to take a bit of time."
