Oilers Goalie Gets His Stanley Cup Ring

Frederik Andersen received his Stanley Cup Championship ring on Thursday, given to him by his former coach Rod Brind'Amour and GM Eric Tulsky.

The Hurricanes are playing the Edmonton Oilers on Thursday night, and with Andersen now a member of the Oilers roster, Thursday was the first opportunity the team had to give him his ring in person. He was brought into the visitors' dressing room and, after a couple of speeches, got to see his ring.

It was a touching moment and a nice one for the Oilers new netminder, who is currently out until around December with an injury.
