EDMONTON – A change or two never hurt anyone.
The Edmonton Oilers know a thing or two about change. Speaking of change, the Oilers are adjusting for Sunday's game.

EDMONTON -- "Keep politics out of sports."
Stuart Skinner played on Saturday, so it was always the plan to have Calvin Pickard start on Sunday against the Washington Capitals. Pickard has a 14-5-0 record with a 2.52 goals against average and a .901 save percentage.
Things need to be different for the Oilers on Sunday.

EDMONTON -- A new coat of paint can work wonders.
The Capitals come from an 8-3 pummeling of the Pittsburgh Penguins. Additionally, Alex Ovechkin has 26 goals this year. He continues to inch his way toward Wayne Gretzky’s all-time goals record.
He didn't record a point. However, he registered four shots in 18 minutes of work, proving that Ovechkin is still a threat to be mindful of.
The second change for the Oilers is that Kasperi Kapanen will draw in, with Mattias Janmark coming out.
As a result, the forward lines will be completely different. First, Connor McDavid will be on the top line between Vasily Podkolzin and Kapanen.
Leon Draisaitl and Matt Savoie will stay together. Veteran Corey Perry will join them on the left wing. Ryan Nugent-Hopkins will center Viktor Arvidsson and Zach Hyman on a new third line. Adam Henrique, Connor Brown, and Jeff Skinner make up the fourth line.
Now we wait to see if this line shuffling results in a better defensive performance – and result – than Saturday.
