Connor McDavid bore the brunt of several cheap shots from Matthew Tkachuk in Game 4.

The Edmonton Oilers fought off elimination with a dominant 8-1 victory over the Florida Panthers. Everyone seemed to chip in on this historic victory for the home team.
Once the game got out of hand for the visitors, the extracurriculars came out in full force. Chief contributors of that were Sam Bennett and Matthew Tkachuk.
The Oilers did their best to not lie down whenever rough stuff happened. They also balanced that with not going too far in scrums. The Panthers however, did not get that memo.
During a post-whistle scrum, Tkachuk took Connor McDavid's head under his arm and fed him several uppercuts. Eventually the scrum was broken up and McDavid no worse for wear.
Eventually, McDavid found himself in a scrum with Sam Bennett. It didn't phase him whatsoever, as he took the opportunity to laugh while Bennett took his own cheap shots.
The Oilers look to put their best foot forward with Game five. If they can do that, they will force the series back to their home barn.
There, anything can happen.
