Edmonton Oilers could debut a surprise forward for Game 4.
EDMONTON -- The Edmonton Oilers find themselves in a terrible pickle.

That pickle is a 3-0 series hole in their Stanley Cup Final Series. Last night they lost 4-3 to the Florida Panthers, putting them on the brink of elimination.
After a loss like last night changes are to be expected. It appears there could be one significant one for Game four.
At practice this morning all of the forwards were wearing white jerseys. Sam Gagner was skating with the main group sporting one of the forward white jerseys.

He was skating on the fifth line with Sam Carrick and Lane Pederson. It's unclear at this moment if he will play Game four or not. The only certain thing is that Kris Knoblauch certainly thinks he is an option to play.
Every time Gagner is inserted into the lineup he brings a complete effort. He is a player who is tailor made to face off against the Panthers' aggressive style.
Gagner has never played in the Stanley Cup Final. He has 11 games of playoff experience to his credit. Six games with the 2015-16 Philadelphia Flyers and then five games with the Columbus Blue Jackets the following season.
He could suit up for career playoff game number 12 tomorrow night.
