EDMONTON – Not everything was sunshine and rainbows.
The Kings are in shambles since being eliminated in the first round of the playoffs for the fourth consecutive season against the Oilers. On May 5th, the Kings and GM Rob Blake agreed to part ways.
Now, the former Oilers GM will be tasked with tweaking a consistent playoff team and finding the right chemistry of players to break through their postseason plateau.
