Edmonton Oilers forward Warren Foegele was left in disbelief at the end of the third period.
EDMONTON -- The Edmonton Oilers won their 12th game in a row decisively by a 4-2 score over the Seattle Kraken. The Oilers are undefeated against the Kraken this season - and move into third in the Pacific Division after the Los Angeles Kings lost a 2-1 decision to the Nashville Predators.

After allowing two goals in the first period, the team shut things down defensively. They primarily did that by letting their offense fly. They scored three goals in the first 7:38 of the second period, securing the win.
Two of those three goals were scored by Warren Foegele.
In the last minutes of the game - during a power play - Kris Knoblauch had Foegele out on the ice with the first unit. After some commotion and a slash from Will Borgen, Foegele was eventually called for a slashing penalty. After not liking the call, he talked to the ref and was later given a misconduct.
Not sure what is going on here, and frankly - Foegele was equally in the dark.
"I was confused, to be honest," Foegele told The Hockey News. He thought that whatever the call was that went against him, it should have been negated.
"Read the game. The only reason I was out there was to get the hat trick. I'm not on the first unit." Despite his pleading the referee didn't budge.
For those not in the know, Foegele has never scored a hat trick in his career.
This game was another solid game for the pending UFA. In his 41 games this season he has nine goals and 14 assists for 23 points - which has him on a 46 point pace. All of this while only averaging 13:52 minutes a game.
Foegele has become a glue guy for this team - the other players enjoy having him around and the coaches can rely on him in multiple situations. In a winning streak that has had many heroes - he was the hero tonight.
