EDMONTON -- The Edmonton Oilers tie up the series 2-2.

On the back of Mattias Janmark's game winning short handed goal the Oilers defeat the Dallas Stars 5-2. Evan Bouchard, Mattias Ekholm, Leon Draisaitl and Ryan McLeod scored the other goals for the Oilers.

While doing post game coverage Kevin Bieksa talked about Darnell Nurse's performance. Here is what he had to say about the Oilers defenseman, "you think about his day. He gets to the rink and he has to meet with the Edmonton meat - that's what I call the media because they're raw, dead and dumb."

"To answer questions about his play, his plus minus from all these guys who are looking at game sheets and what does he do? He goes out there - has a really shaky start, and not that it's his fault. But he's on the ice for a 2-on-1. Plays it fine, -1. Then he has one go off his butt and in, -2."

"And he has to think to himself 'man this is going downhill.'"

Bieksa continues, "but he keeps playing, he stays aggressive, he plays physical and has an amazing game for them."

Looking at the "gamesheet" for Nurse reveals he had a notable performance. He collected one assist, one shot, three blocks and 12 hits in 19:19 of ice time. It was a solid bounce back game for the blue liner. For the Oilers' sake let's hope he has more of those in the tank.
