Win or lose, the Edmonton Oilers Stanley Cup journey ends tonight. Will they meet the challenge head on and secure the sixth franchise championship? Or will they become another team that couldn't pull off a reverse sweep?
One way or another, the Oilers have had an incredible season.

It started poorly, but they eventually found their footing. They were tied for last place on November 10th and are now one win away from being crowned the Stanley Cup Champions
Only the 1945 Detroit Red Wings and the 1942 Toronto Maple Leafs have ever come back from a 3-0 deficit in the Stanley Cup Final. The Red Wings fell short of the ultimate goal, losing Game seven.
The Maple Leafs on the other hand, completed the reverse sweep. Only four teams have completed a reverse sweep in the playoffs, proving how difficult it is to accomplish.
The other teams to hit this incredible feat were the 1975 New York Islanders, the 2010 Philadelphia Flyers and the 2014 Los Angeles Kings. Will the Oilers become the fifth team tonight?

Even if they lose, the fact that they got to this position is extraordinary. The dedication, belief and hard work that got them here is off the charts.
All that's left is to put it all out on the ice tonight. In the words of Stuart Skinner, "if anyone can do it, it's the Oil."

If the Oilers can pull this off, it might be the single greatest playoff run of all time.
