The Edmonton Oilers entered the Game seven scenario ready to finish out their series against the Vancouver Canucks. But in true Oilers fashion - they made it a little stressful on Oilers fans.

After leading 3-0 for a long stretch, one bad mistake gave the Canucks a goal. That goal gave them all the momentum - and they began to push.

The Canucks made the game 3-2 and then Kris Knoblauch did something that very few Oilers coaches have done in that scenario - he calls a timeout.

And he doesn't do it to just give his players rest - he talks to them to give them a reset. And we finally know what he said to them.

"We gotta make some plays, keep it simple. We're good. We've been in this situation lots. Make your plays, win your battles, let's put the pressure on them."

This timeout was an incredibly smart move by Knoblauch. The team was under a lot of pressure by a desperate Canucks team trying to get back into the game.

Things didn't swing completely back into the Oilers' favor, this speech did seem to calm down everyone's nerves a bit. The players bring up Knoblauch's ability to calm everyone down, and this quick pep talk seems like a perfect display of that.
