EDMONTON -- Leading up to the trade deadline, many pundits agreed that the Edmonton Oilers needed to acquire a top-six winger to play with Leon Draisaitl.

While Adam Henrique is a fine player - and extraordinarily versatile - he hasn't been used in that role. Because of that, it's safe to say that they still need someone to play in the top six to add some scoring prowess.

Ryan McLeod and Warren Foegele have a lot of traits that are incredible assets in the top-six. Both have speed and are great defensive players. The key for the Oilers success might be to bring someone into the lineup who can push one of those two players onto the third or fourth line - to give them more scoring depth.

    Enter Dylan Holloway.

Holloway has had a relatively short lease in his time with the big club this season. In 32 games he's only averaged 11:03 of ice time per game - with only four points to his credit.

He was assigned to the Bakersfield Condors on March 7th - and has played excellent hockey since arriving. He has five points in six games to go along with 15 shots. Holloway has been an impact player in the short time he's spent there.

A great example of this is shown in the above tweet. He pokes the puck away from an opposing player, transports the puck into the offensive zone, and rips a shot past the Calgary Wranglers goaltender.

If the Oilers want to add some pop into their lineup - and be a harder team to play against as a result - this is one of the ways they can achieve that.
