Leon Draisaitl reached a significant milestone in last night's win against the Montreal Canadiens.
EDMONTON -- For a second straight game the Edmonton Oilers played in overtime.
But unlike Saturday's loss, the Oilers snuck a victory out of this one. They won 3-2 on a power play goal from Leon Draisaitl in overtime.

Draisaitl might not be at the same level he was at last year - production wise - but he's still a really incredible player with a tremendous one-timer on the power play.
As you can see (if you don't already know) Draisaitl has one of the most lethal one-timers in the entire NHL from that position on the ice. In addition to being the game winning goal, that snipe accomplished something else.
Draisaitl now has 61 career game winning goals with the Oilers - which has him tied with Wayne Gretzky for third all-time in the stat.
Only two players have more game winning goals, Connor McDavid with 68 and Glenn Anderson with 72. For both players that is very elite company to be in.
Draisaitl has played 66 games this season. In those games he has 34 goals and 53 assists for 87 points. He's averaging 20:50 of ice time every game - the second most among Oilers forwards.
